The spring in Yuantouzhu brims with fascinating blooms like sakura, peach blossoms and tulips... The scene was so appealing that I even forgot to take photos, just screaming at the luxuriant sight of flowers, as if I was a real flower maniac.
Taihu Fairyland is the only island in China with Taoist temples, where you can see the statues of the Queen Mother and the Jade Emperor. The latter is quite high, and we are only as tall as his palms.
The distant view of the ethereal Taihu Lake reminds me of the essay On Yueyang Tower by Fan Zhongyan:
Men coming up to this pavilion
May feel complete freedom of heart and ease of spirit,
Forgetting every worldly gain or setback,
To hold their wine cups in the breeze in absolute elation,
Delighted with life.
